The rich historical detail and gripping narrative kept me hooked. The blend of action, politics, and personal struggle makes this a must-read for historical fiction fans. The author's skill in bringing ancient history to life is simply unmatched.

Amy’s Bookshelf (The Berlin Girl’s Choice)

This story was one with strong characters, and was a definite page-turner. I look forward to reading more by this author, especially the books in this series.
